Support CJ and his efforts at National Links Trust’s ‘The Hike at East Potomac’ on Monday, June 9th

Public access golf allowed me to get a start in the game. Some of my most fond memories are at my local municipal course where I’d play 9 after school with friends, walk the course with my dad and sister, and ultimately create a lifelong connection to the game.

Golf has taken me to some pretty incredible places – junior golf allowed me to travel the country competitively in high school, amateur golf has encouraged me to travel throughout my now home state of Virginia, and every time I play, the game offers an opportunity to get outside, connect with folks, and slow down and enjoy community. None of this would have been possible for me without a welcoming place to learn the game.

NLT is all about creating the opportunities I was able to take advantage of as a kid and to create connections to the game and community. I hope my Hike goes a small way in helping NLT to continue to promote affordable, accessible, and inclusive golf in DC and beyond.
